We've all faced them at some point in time or other: Kiddy Q's - or questions that make you go 'ulp.'



I present some of the most famous ones, reproduced here by kind courtesy of the incorrigible Donny - my muse, my bane, my boy-buddy and perhaps a little me from long ago in some spirit he retains when he lets lady-bugs crawl up his sleeve; then waits to carry them to a suitable home in the abundant potted garden area of our landlord. "Jus' in case, sumone steps on 'em, Mumma...I think they're losted - lookit where the flowers are and look where these have come flyin'...hain..na..??"

The Real Kiddy Q's  - or questions that make you go 'ulp.'

1. What happens when a bird gets stuck-ded in a freezer door and is half-in, half-out?

2. What is marriage? Is it anything like a wedding party?

3. Y'know Mumma, what I like about wedding parties - like Unca Rodney's one? You get to eat lotta food and cake n nobe-beddy asks for nimmies (monies)!!

4. I don't really want a baby brother or sister; can I get a big-small furry puppy instead...oh yes, with a Mummy doggy and Dada doggy for it too?

5. Can't you just give this food to allda starvy (starving) chillen (children) in the world insteada making me eat it? Lollipop's fine for lunch - really it is, Mumma!

6. Why do I havta sleep b'myself when I'm littler than Daddy? Is Daddy scared to sleep alone?

7. Oh Mumma, whenya going to bugger (baghaar-oe) the doll (daal)?? I'm starvy already!

8.What happens if the batteries inda stwars (stars) go out??


9. Why are the climby things in the playground called Monkey Ladders - why not Children's Ladders, huh, huh, huh?

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, dear Sulekhaites - write me some 'ulp' uttars for these questions so I can stem the flow of my little Don's think tank and if he's satisfied with the answers, then maybe, he'll give me a break from these and more such....

(Hope springs eternal in the human heart....oh well, I can always wish can't I? )

HAAAAAAAALLLPP!!! These are typically midnight/lunchtime and generally when seeing-mum-is-sorta-happy-sleepy-relaxy kinda questions, timed to disassociate me from any hope of the above mentioned as well as my writing schedule for official projects, which I greatly need time-out for now!!

If I didn't stress on it enough - HAAAAAALlllllPPPPPP already, yaar!!!
